Carbide Burs
Carbide burs are finishing tools that remove sharp edges, unwanted projections, and excess material from machined workpieces. They can also be used for grinding, shaping, and cutting. They attach to rotary power tools such as die grinders, high-speed engravers, and pendant drills. Their carbide head is hard and resists wear and heat. Burs are differentiated by their cutting head shape and end cut style, which allows them to access specific workpiece features or make specific types of cuts.
