Door Plates and Guards
Door plates and guards are installed on doors to secure them from break-ins and protect certain areas of the doors from vandalism or damage. Door cover plates conceal lockset holes in doors to help prevent break-ins. Door kick plates protect doors from damage due to collisions with carts, gurneys, and other wheeled equipment. Door push and pull plates prevent damage to areas of a door that will be pushed or pulled on often. Door strike plates help door latches stay put and protect door jambs from friction. Door latch guards prevent latch bolts from being removed from a lockset to prevent break-ins. Door edge guards protect door edges from wear and tear. Door finger guards keep fingers from coming too close to door hinges, which helps prevent finger injuries.
