Diggers, Breakers & Sand Rammers

Image 1

Air-powered diggers, breakers, and sand rammers provide impact force for construction and demolition tasks. These pneumatic tools operate on compressed air and contain few moving parts, so they run cool for a long lifespan and require minimal maintenance. Sand rammers and backfill tampers pummel their butt-end against loosely packed material to compact it. They pack soil, gravel, and other fill after excavation in construction applications and compress sand in casting molds. Diggers strike their bit against compacted material to cut holes, create channels, and perform light demolition. They dig into asphalt, masonry, concrete, clay, and frozen ground. Pavement breakers and rock drills use their heft and power to break up and drill into rock and concrete for heavy drilling and demolition tasks. They deliver stronger blows than diggers and are held vertically to focus their weight downward.
