Linear Bearings
Linear bearings have cylindrical-shaped inner surfaces that fit around linear shafts to facilitate motion. Typical uses include motion control systems, automation machinery, robotics, and material handling equipment. Linear plain and sleeve bearings have no moving parts and are self-lubricating. Pillow block linear plain bearings and linear ball bearings have housings that add stability and mount bearings parallel to surfaces. Flange-mount linear plain bearings and linear ball bearings have mounting surfaces that serve as thrust washers and mount bearings perpendicular to the surface. Linear ball bearings have moving elements that operate with low friction and high precision. Ball spline nuts provide precise movement along spline shafts, and they have high load and torque capabilities.
