Liquid & Particulate Protective Clothing

Image 1

Liquid and particulate protective clothing keeps workers clean. It protects staff who perform a variety of tasks including automotive spray painting, maintenance work, and pharmaceutical and lab work. Liquid and particulate clothing protects against hazardous and non-hazardous dirt, dust, aerosols, dry particulates, and liquids. Aprons cover the front of a worker to the knee, leaving the arms uncovered, while smocks have sleeves. Coveralls provide continuous coverage from neck to ankle to prevent particles from entering at the waist. Hoods are worn with coveralls and other garments to protect the head and neck. Lab coats and frocks have long sleeves, front closures, and extend past the hip to the knee. Protective pants and shirts are often worn together to provide full body coverage. Shoe and boot covers protect surfaces from contaminants and protect footwear from damage. Hairnets, bouffants, and beard nets prevent hair from falling onto surfaces to ensure a clean and hygienic work area.
