Mounted Points and Kits
Mounted points are small, bonded abrasive wheels for detailed deburring applications, such as grinding, polishing, roughing, or removing material. They're also used for metal tool detailing or finishing in tight spaces, such as between machine gears. They attach to die grinders, straight shaft grinders, or handheld rotary tools. Mounted point kits include a variety of point shapes, shank diameters, and abrasive materials for assorted shop and foundry grinding applications. They are commonly used to debur corresponding parts for a precise fit with professional, finished appearance and texture. They are also used to debur moving parts for smooth motion, decreasing the chance for equipment failure.
