The lighting system of a vehicle consists of lighting and signaling devices mounted on the exterior front, rear, sides, and in some cases, the top of a vehicle. These light the roadway for the driver. The lighting system also makes the vehicle more visible especially in low light conditions or bad weather. Interior lighting provides safety for passengers and alerts drivers to issues within a vehicle.
