Intercoms and speakers are installed in large spaces such as warehouses, retail stores, and fabrication plants so workers can page personnel, notify personnel of an emergency, and broadcast announcements. Commercial intercoms and speakers can be used with other communications equipment such as video intercom accessories, PA systems and speakers, handheld communication devices like megaphones, and wireless call boxes to improve communication among personnel in large indoor or outdoor facilities.
