Knives & Blades

Image 1

Knives and blades make cuts in a variety of materials. They have a handle to grip the tool and guide the blade. Fixed-blade knives provide a rigid, non-retractable edge to cut tough materials. Folding knives tuck their blade into the knife handle for safe transport and storage. Precision knives make detailed cuts in wood, paper, leather, and other soft materials for design, drafting, and crafting applications. Rotary cutters roll their circular blade on its edge to make straight or curved cuts through layers of fabrics, paper, vinyl, and rubber. Utility knives make pull cuts using small, disposable blades attached to the knife handle. They score drywall and insulation and cut cardboard, plastic sheeting, card stock, cord, and more. Blade containers collect spent blades for disposal or recycling.
