Mold & Die Milling Tools

Image 1

Mold and die milling tools have tapered sides that allow them to fit into the channels in a mold or die. They are used to remove material from dies or molds in plastic mold-making applications and in manufacturing facilities. Die-sinking milling cutters are used for plunge cuts, tapering existing holes, removing burs, creating channels, and other processes in die- and mold-manufacturing. Runner cutters are used to create channels in die and mold cavities. Tapered end mills create slots or grooves with tapered walls in a workpiece.
