Polishing
Polishing and buffing equipment creates a smooth, glossy finish on metal, glass, wood, and fiberglass surfaces by removing scratches and other small marks. Polishing tools use fine abrasive grit to remove small imperfections in preparation for buffing. Buffing equipment creates a lustrous finish by evening out any brushed or lined surface marks left behind by polishing. Buffing and polishing compounds are fine abrasive fillers added to greases and formed into bars or liquid. They're added to cloth or fiber buffing and polishing pads, bonnets, and felt bobs to help fill-in and remove fine lines. With fine lines removed, polished and buffed surfaces look finished and attractive and are easier to clean.
