Pond and wastewater aerators turn over water with air bubbles to improve water quality. Aeration improves the water quality within a pond by reducing muck, lowering the number of mosquitos, and preventing algae bloom which can cause fish kill. Diffused aerators create and continuously release bubbles from the bottom of a pond to turn over water with a shore-mounted compressor. Surface aerators float on top of a pond and create water turn over with air created by a shore-mounted compressor. Fountain aerators create water turn over by spraying water into the air over a large surface area.
