Rotary Shafts & Accessories

Image 1

Rotary shafts are metal rod-shaped devices that transmit rotational power and motion within the parts of a machine. Keyed rotary shafts have a keyway milled into the length of the shaft to prevent slippage between the shaft and the rotating machine element. Grooved rotary shafts have machined grooves that fit retaining rings. Keyless rotary shafts have smooth, straight surfaces with no keyways or grooves. Ball bearing mandrels are rotating mechanisms within tools such as benchtop buffing and finishing equipment. Mounts for bearings and rotary components are attached to walls and panels to hold rotating components such as gears, bearings, and pulleys.
