Temperature calibrators regulate temperature-sensing equipment to precise temperatures or confirm that equipment is already calibrated correctly. Portable calibration baths are filled with liquid that’s heated or cooled to exact temperatures. Sensors are submerged in the liquid and then calibrated to that temperature. Portable metrology drywell calibrators are programmable and typically used for comparison calibrations as well as calibrating thermocouple sensors. Horizontal calibrators feature nonmetallic blocks that heat to a wide temperature range. Compact field calibrators are small and lightweight and check RTDs, thermocouples, and small bimetal thermometers. Handheld temperature probe calibrators are highly accurate and measure and source thermocouples. Reference temperature calibrators remain safe at a wide range of operating temperatures.
