Vandal-Resistant & Confinement Lighting

Image 1

Vandal-resistant and confinement fixtures resist impacts and tampering to illuminate schools, transit centers, storage facilities, public restrooms, and other high-abuse indoor spaces where standard fixtures could get damaged. They have a sturdy housing and a thick lens that withstands repeated blows without shattering. When properly installed, they leave no gaps to hide contraband or pry off the fixture. Confinement lights combine vandal resistance with features such as ligature resistance or dual lenses that help prevent people from using the fixtures to hurt themselves or others in correctional facilities, behavioral health centers, and holding areas. Recessed-mount fixtures mount within a wall or ceiling to conceal their wiring and most of their housing below the surface. Flush-mount fixtures attach to a wall or ceiling. Corner-mount fixtures have an angled housing that tucks into a corner just below a ceiling. Shower-area fixtures illuminate showers and other humid or wet locations.
