Weld testing and inspection verifies weld quality and ensures weldments are correctly prepared for welding. Dye penetrant testing finds cracks and flaws on welds on metal surfaces. Magnetic particle testing finds cracks and other flaws in welds on magnetic metals. Weld inspection gauges help ensure weldments are correctly prepared and aligned and measure finished welds to ensure they conform to standards. Welding temperature indicators measure surface temperature to ensure it's at the correct temperature for welding.
